“My law firm has great Google reviews… but nobody’s calling!”

How to leverage your firm’s reviews (the right way)

An attorney recently came to us with an excellent question.

He had gathered 18 five-star reviews on his Google Business Profile, and was wondering why he still wasn’t getting many inbound calls from prospective clients.

For this one, we had to realign his expectations a little bit.

We told him that if you want to attract qualified leads from local searches, you’ve got to optimize your Google Business Profile for the Google Map Pack first.

(Google Map Pack are the three results that appear at the top of the page when you search for local businesses. The Map Pack accounts for over 50% of all traffic on a given search query — no small potatoes!)

Once your GBP is optimized, ranking in the Map Pack is not determined only by the total number of reviews you have, even if they’re high-quality.
