1. Siloing their website content
“Siloing” simply means grouping and linking content together based on keyword themes.
We interlinked their website’s pages “up and down” the silos (within narrow topics), and then “across” silos (to broadly connect topics).
This helps Google easily understand your website’s structure, and what type of law you specialize in.
2. Embedding Google Maps links into the website
We did this on multiple pages, with links to all five office locations.
In combination with siloing, this is a massive factor that pushes your Google Business Profile higher up the Maps rankings.
3. Linking from the site back to their Google Business Profile with targeted keywords
The final, critical step.
We took keywords from each page (like “NYC Brain Injury Lawyer” or “Whiplash Lawyer in NYC”) and used them in the hypertext of links that point to their Google Business Profile.
This sends good signals to Google which keywords it should directly associate with your law firm.
We also did this with the Google Map embed links — e.g., “[find a KEYWORD] or [find an NYC personal injury lawyer] at the office below.”
